The Intensive is a deeply personal learning environment. Participant privacy and confidentiality is extremely important for everyone's safety and learning. Please ensure that you keep other participant's personal information private and confidential and do not share identifying details beyond the course participant group.

Experiential training

The Processwork Intensive is a confidential, adult learning environment focused on personal and community transformation. The activities may elicit emotional and psychological stress. If you have experienced psychological difficulties either in the past or present that may impact your participation, please consider carefully if this event is right for you. While all care is taken to support individuals, each person is responsible for their own needs and boundaries. By registering for the Intensive, you agree to take personal responsibility for your experience and to seek out support if you need it.

English language

The Intensive is taught in English, with an awareness and sensitivity to the experience of those for whom English may be a second (or third or fourth) language. We welcome a multilingual group and ask for shared awareness of the challenges of using English when it is a second language. Participants should ensure they are comfortable with their own level of understanding of English conversation and instruction.

PWI's Winter Intensive experience: COVID style

We hope you will join us December and January 2020-21 for two new, COVID 'inspired' online Intensive experience experiments.

Since 1986, the community of the Process Work Institute of Portland, Oregon has been hosting a 5-week Winter Intensive Course in Process Work.

Many of us first met at these deep, immersive community experiences. Many friendships were forged, professional and intimate relationships were established.

Having lunch, walks in forest park, day trips to the coast, the mountain, the waterfalls, coffee, dinner, dancing, fighting, loving and being amazed and moved by the awesome flow of process.

It takes a lot to gather 30 people in person for five weeks.  And the experience is precious. Irreplaceable.

January 2021 would have been the 36th annual intensive

COVID-19 dreaming unfolds for each of us in unique ways. And it has many world channel threads. From the racial inequality of its impacts, to the global connectedness and intensity of its transformational power.

2020 has changed things. It has revealed hard things about our current reality and highlighted the risks and opportunities of our future.

For the Winter Intensive, it has meant not coming together in person. It has meant thinking about a different way to immerse in the dreaming together.

Processworkers have had a lot of experience using technology to support learning in community over distances.  Our elders are early adopters of community email strings and teleconference supervision and facilitation. Processwork was born as an international community, and studying together over distance is in our DNA.

Join us to co-create how to share experiential, deeply transformational, dreaming in community experiences together online.
