Process Structure Lab!

Video Study to Deepen Awareness Skills through Practice

with Lane Arye Ph.D.

Video study is an essential tool for students and practitioners of Processwork. It is impossible to catch all the signals that fly by in a session. Video allows us to pause and analyze or watch again. It gives us time to study a body posture, listen more closely to a vocal inflection, or turn off the sound and watch a face briefly contort before a habitual smile returns.

Video helps us form hypotheses about process structure, dream figures, and subtleties we may have otherwise missed.
This practice trains us to accurately notice and fluidly work in real time with clients and with ourselves.

Process Structure!
Tools for Awareness and Tracking

Who is this class for?

This course is for students and practitioners of Processwork.

Basic understanding of process structure and Processwork terms will be assumed.

What will I learn?

  • Tools that will help you learn more about your clients by studying their process after sessions.
  • Tools that will make it simpler to follow the flow of process, and will shine light on mysteries hiding in plain sight.

This course will not catch fish for you, but it will teach you how to fish!

You will come away with tools you can use for a lifetime.

No need to bring videos, just curiosity and a desire to learn in community.

What's it like to learn with Lane?

Lane is deeply honest, beautifully transparent about his skills, his methods, and his limitations, profoundly compassionate, and enviably fluid. I especially admire his gentleness and his patience.
Lane is a gifted teacher, able to engage students immediately in the experience of what they’re learning rather than merely in the idea of it. His spontaneous, authentic, light-hearted style creates an environment of mutual discovery and delight in what emerges.
New information presented in a way that makes it possible to effectively digest and apply it. ‘Old’ pieces of information falling into places.
